Anderson University Offers High Schoolers, Parents A Taste of College Life

University will hold All-Access visit event next week. Students and parents will tour school, attend class, dine on campus and stay on campus overnight.

High school juniors and seniors, along with their parents, are invited to Anderson University Nov. 15 and 16 for the school’s All Access visit event.

During the two-day program, prospective students can learn about college life at Anderson, receive a tour, attend class and a worship service, dine on campus, and stay overnight in a campus residence. Parents who attend also will receive an overview of the school as well as dine and talk with the university’s president and campus leaders.

All Access gives prospective students full access to everything Anderson University has to offer, says Campus Visit and Admission Event coordinator Jody Bryant.

“The idea behind ‘All Access’ is to have them spend 24 hours submerged in our culture to get a deep look at what it would be like to be a student here,” she said.

The event begins at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, on campus at 316 Boulevard in Anderson, S.C., and wraps up at 3:15 on Friday, Nov. 16. The event costs $35, which covers lunch and dinner for the student and up to two guests.
