Ann Hampton to Speak at Easley BPW Meeting Wednesday
RSVP by Monday evening if you're planning to attend.

The Easley Business and Professional Women’s Club will meet Wednesday, September 19 at the Captain Kimberly Memorial Library in Easley at 12:30. The speaker will be Ann Hampton, mother of Captain Kimberly Hampton. She will speak on her mission trips to Iraq as part of the “Gold Star Mothers” who are mothers that have lost children in the Iraq War. Captain Kimberly Hampton was the first female military pilot in the United States history to be shot down and killed as a result of hostile fire. She was also the first woman from South Carolina to die in the Iraq War.
Mrs. Ann Hampton discovered that her Iraqi trips became a journey of healing. Her inspiring story of meeting Iraqi women and being able to relate across difficult cultural and religious barriers, deeply touched all who heard it. It is a story of forgiveness, peace and God’s grace. Ann has co-written the very inspiring book “Kimberly’s Flight” and will have signed copies available to anyone who wants a copy.
This meeting will be a terrific networking opportunity for all age working and retired women to become acquainted with the exceptional ladies that will be at this meeting so don’t miss it. Come and bring a friend. The cost of the catered lunch is $10.00
