Another Auction of Ron Wilson Assets Planned
Convicted Ponzi schemer's farm items to be sold off later this month to help repay jilted investors.

Another auction of items owned by convicted Ponzi schemer Ron Wilson is set for April 27.
The auction will sell off farm items belonging to the former Anderson County councilman, according to the Anderson Independent-Mail.Â
Included are more than 400 items, including what appears to be a wooden John Wayne likeness, antique and vintage farm equipment, a cannon, all-terrain vehicles and commercial refrigeration units, the paper reported.
Wilson ran a silver investment business and pleaded guilty in November to a scheme that lost $57.4 million worth of his investors’ money. He was convicted along with Wallace Lindsey Howell of Mauldin.
The April 27 auction will be at Live Oak Farms in Woodruff, with Walnut Grove Auctions. Pictures of the items and auction details are available at www.walnutgroveauction.com.
