Arts Council of Pickens County Meets Tomorrow

If you'd like to support the arts in Pickens County, the Arts Council of Pickens County invites you to their first meeting tomorrow night. 

The meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. at The Starving Artist Cafe in Easley. 

According to Amanda Gunter with the Fine Arts Center of Pickens County, the Arts Council of Pickens County is a nonprofit organization whose missions to promote the literary, visual and performing arts in the area. 

Membership in the council is open to anyone who has a strong desire to see the arts flourish in Pickens County. 

During the meeting, the organization's bylaws will be introduced. Future goals will also be discussed.

The Arts Council of Pickens County was one of the driving forces behind last months inaugural Fall for the Arts festival. A celebratin of the arts held in conjunction with the Easley Farmers Market, the festival drew a large crowd to downtown Easley.
