Barbara Jean McAbee Cromer, 81, wife of the late Elmer R. Cromer, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at North Greenville Hospital.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late JR (Jimmy) and Jewell Burnette McAbee. Mrs. Cromer was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are two daughters, Kelly Anders, and Cindy Wood; two sons, Steve Cromer, and Greg Cromer; sisters, Betty Eskew and Jo Ann Stewart; brother, James R. McAbee, Jr; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cromer was predeceased by two sons, Doyle Cromer and Dana Cromer and one brother, Kenneth McAbee, one granddaughter, Ashley L. Sekerchak, one great-grandson, Mason R. Bishop
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in the chapel of
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family will be at the home of Greg Cromer, 401 Shefwood Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
