BattleCat Sports Holding Christmas Toy Drive
Anderson-based business collecting toys from now until Dec. 15

BattleCat Sports is spreading Christmas cheer as it hosts its first ever Toy Drive to benefit area families.
From now to December 15, anyone who has a heart for making a child’s Christmas special is encouraged to bring unopened, unwrapped Christmas toys to the location on Manning Street during regular business hours, Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM and Sunday 1 – 6 PM. Monetary donations are also accepted.
“There are so many families who are suffering in this economy and won’t be able to provide a special Christmas for their children,” said BattleCat Associate Kynn Tribble. “We thought that hosting this event would allow our players and others who want to do something to help make Christmas special to have a centrally located drop-off site. “

BattleCat will be working with area non-profits to identify families in need so that the gifts are distributed to truly indigent recipients.
“We are hoping to light up the hearts of little boys and girls in our area at a time when they may not have much hope. This is a unique opportunity for us all to share a little extra,” commented Tribble.
