Bob Jones Academy Will Hold Its 85th Graduation Ceremony Thursday

James Harold Noel of Greer is the valedictorian and Rebecca Danielle Jones of Easley is the salutatorian of this year's class.

 

Bob Jones Academy (BJA) will hold its 85th graduation ceremony for 88 graduates this Thursday, May 10, at 2 p.m. in Rodeheaver Auditorium at Bob Jones University (BJU). This is the first graduating class under the consolidated BJA.

During the graduation exercises, several students will give brief testimonials about their learning experiences while attending BJA. Bob Jones III, chancellor of BJU, will speak during the ceremony.

The 2012 valedictorian is James Harold Noel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Noel of Greer, S.C. This year’s salutatorian is Rebecca Danielle Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Jones of Easley, S.C.

In 2011, it was announced that the school, previously operating as semi-independent divisions (including Bob Jones Elementary and Bob Jones Junior High), would be unified under the name Bob Jones Academy, creating the largest Christian school in South Carolina.
