The Calm After the Storm

I can't remember ever having seen a complete rainbow until last week. My wife and I took a drive up to Asheville, NC and on our way back we were caught in a brief heavy downpour. The rain came and went quickly but left behind the deepest, fullest rainbow I've ever seen. 

Last night Easley experienced a tremendously powerful storm that also passed through rather quickly. Once it had passed, we took a short drive in to town to get a bite to eat. When we arrived and stepped out of the car, Mother Nature gave me my second perfectly complete rainbow. Both ends appeared to land right here in Easley and surrounded the water tower. 

There are few things in life that make most people slow down. This rainbow caught the attention of nearly everyone around us, and made us all pause to enjoy it's unmatchable beauty.
