Byrd, Haas Make Cut

Stanley, Glover and Mills finished after two rounds

Jonathan Byrd and Bill Haas move on to the third round at The Masters.

Byrd, a native of Spring Valley, is four shots off the lead after shooting one under par at 71.

He currently is tied for 19th.

Fred Couples, 52, of Seattle and Jason Dufner, 35, of Alabama, are the current leaders at five under par for the tourney.

Couples was five under on Saturday to tie Dufner for the lead. Couples won the 1992 Masters tournament.

Haas of Greenville is currently tied for 33rd after shooting two over par. He is two over for the tourney, having shot par on Thursday.

Clemson alums Kyle Stanley of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Lucas Glover of Greenville both missed the cut.

Stanley, who was on target to make the cut, bogeyed six of the last 12 holes. Stanley for the second day double-bogeyed on the seventh hole, missing the cut by two shots.

Glover was 10 shots over for the tournament, having shot a 75 on Friday and 79 on Saturday. Glover bogeyed five holes and double-bogeyed on the 17th hole.

In his first appearance, Clemson junior Corbin Mills of Anderson was 11 over for the tournament, having shot a 74 on Friday. He was nine over on Saturday, having bogeyed five holes and double-bogeying two others.
