Cannon Hospital Offering Free Heartscore Screenings

As part of February’s Heart Month, Cannon Hospital and AnMed Health have partnered to offer free Heartscore screenings to the community.  These screenings are a means of detecting possible heart problems before it’s too late. 

The free tests that will be part of the screening include:  Total cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, height and weight, body mass index, heart rhythm, sleep assessment, diabetes information and educational counseling. 

The Heartscore screenings will be offered on February 12 at the Pickens Senior Center located at 129 Schoolhouse Road in Pickens. You must have an appointment for the Heartscore screenings by calling 898-1334.  No one will be screened without an appointment.
