Cannon Memorial Hospital to Hold Flu Clinic Oct. 18

Flu season is in full swing and Cannon Memorial Hospital has been offering community flu shot clinics around the area recently.

The next one is slated for 9am – 11 am Thursday, October 18 at the Easley Senior Center.

Flu shots are $30. Flu mist is $35. Pneumonia shots are also available for $65. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. No insurance or Medicaid will be filed.

Medicare Part B will be accepted but you present your card at the clinic.

No children under the age of 12 will be vaccinated at clinics held outside of Cannon Hospital.

Children ages 12-18 will only be immunized at outside clinics if a parent or guardian is present and signs a consent form.

Flu shots are also administered at Cannon Memorial Hospital's Wellness Wednesdays, held at the Wellness Annex, located at 865 Pendleton Street in Pickens.

No appointment is necessary for Wellness Wednesdays.
