Chamber Event to Feature State of the Economy Address
Dr. Bruce Yandle, former head of the Federal Trade Commission, will speak at Chamber event Thursday, January 17.

A former Executive Director of the Federal Trade Commission will speak on the economy at a special Easley Chamber of Commerce event next month.
Dr. Bruce Yandle served on White House staff during the Ford and Carter administrations. He headed up the FTC during the Reagan Administration. He has also been a member and former chairman of South Carolina's State Board of Economic Advisors.
This year, Yandle received the Adam Smith Award from Association of Private Enterprise Education in recognition of his career promoting the free enterprise system. His quarterly newsletter, The Economic Situation, is distributed by Clemson University and George Mason University.

Yandle will give an address on the State of the Economy in South Carolina and the United States 11:45am – 1pm Thursday, January 17 at Tri-County Technical College's Easley Campus.
Tickets are $25 for Easley Chamber of Commerce members and $35 for non-members.
