Christmas Parades Continue This Week

Liberty, Clemson, Dacusville and Norris holding their Christmas celebrations this week

Easley, Central and Six Mile held their Christmas parades this past weekend, but there's still plenty of opportunities to get into the Christmas spirit this week.

Liberty, Clemson, Dacusville and Norris will all hold their Christmas parades this week, with Liberty and Clemson both holding their events Tuesday.

Liberty's events kick off with a tree-lighting downtown at 4:30pm, followed by the Christmas parade, which begins at 6pm.

Liberty's parade route begins at the old Liberty High School stadium. Floats and entries will travel downtown before returning to the stadium.

Clemson's parade day festivities begin at 5pm Tuesday, December 4 with free hot chocolate and live entertainment.

The parade will begin at 6pm Tuesday. The route starts downtown at College Avenue.

The Dacusville community will light their Christmas tree 7pm December 7. The tree is located near the intersection of Thomas Mill Road and State 186.

The next day, Saturday, December 8, Dacusville will hold its Christmas parade. This year's parade theme is “Candy Cane Christmas.” The parade is set to begin at 2pm Saturday.

Floats and entries will line up in the Norman Heights subdivision. Then parade will then run down State 186 to the old Dacusville Elementary School.

In the event of bad weather, the parade will be held 2pm, Sunday, December 9.

Norris will also hold its Christmas parade on Saturday. The parade begins at 11am and will travel down State 93.
