Clemson Cleaning Crew Charged With Stealing Safe
Three Liberty men face charges in connection with theft of safe from campus dining hall

Clemson University police arrested three Liberty men in connection with the theft of a safe from a campus dining hall.
Jacob Matthew Fulmer, 20, Robert Matthew Fulmer, 23, and James Richard Smith, 31, each was charged with grand larceny more than $2,000 and criminal conspiracy to commit grand larceny. The three worked for Clemson Cleaning Services and were not university students or employees.
Police said a safe containing cash and other items was taken from an office in Harcombe Dining Hall between 11:50 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Someone also attempted to take a safe from another office, but it was bolted to the floor.

Jacob Matthew Fulmer was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond, Robert Matthew Fulmer was released on a $10,000 surety bond and Smith was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.
