Clemson Police Searching for Two Armed Robbers

Pair of bandits hit two restaurants over the course of three nights, report says.

Two men who robbed a pair of Clemson restaurants at gunpoint are being sought by authorities, Fox Carolina reported.

Clemson police said the first robbery occurred May 14 at the Wendy's on Highway 123, when the suspects entered the restaurant around 10 p.m. and ordered employees on to the floor, stealing cash and the employees' cell phones, the report said.

Clemson police believed the same two are responsible for another armed robbery at the Little Caesar's in downtown Clemson around 3 a.m. on May 17, Chief Jimmy Dixon told the station.

No was injured in the two robberies, the report said.

Dixon said police are offering a cash reward for information leading to the identity of the man in the attached surveillance photo and information leading to arrests and convictions in the cases, the report said.
