Clemson Student Charged With Making Bombs
Police say gunshot-like noises heard in Thornhill Village Sunday night were dry-ice bombs going off.

A Clemson University student has been charged in connection with explosions heard on campus Sunday night.
Clemson University police said yesterday that gunshot-like noises heard in the Thornhill Village area around 8 pm Sunday night were made by homemade pressure devices designed to explode.
Kaleb Donald Williams, 21, of Woodruff, was arrested Sunday night. Williams is charged with manufacture and use of a destructive device, which is a felony.

Williams is a junior. He has been been released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
Police said three dry-ice bombs exploded Sunday night, but that there was no threat to the campus community.
