Clemson Student Charged With Weapons Violation
Police say Anderson man charged after weapon discovered in vehicle.

An Anderson man is facing a felony charged after a weapon was found in his car on the campus of Clemson University.
Brandon Tyler Lowe, 19, of 102 Olive Branch Road, Anderson is charged with one count of carrying or displaying firearms in public buildings or adjacent areas.
The incident occurred on March 5, while Lowe's car was parking in an employee lot on Centennial Boulevard on campus.

Lowe could be facing up to five years in prison, a fine of up to $5,000 or both.
The Clemson Police Department requested that the State Law Enforcement Division conduct the investigation into the incident.
