Concrete Primary School and the Wren ROTC celebrated and honored America’s Veterans on Friday, November 9.
Students watched as the Wren ROTC explained why Americans celebrate Veteran’s Day and then raised the flag.
Together they recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang My Country Tis of Thee.

Second graders were additionally treated to the experience of sitting at the controls in the cockpit of a real airplane, provided by Mr. Washburn, retired Air Force, and father of Concrete 2nd grader, Hannah Washburn.
Concrete would like to say “thank you” to all of America’s veterans for the tremendous sacrifices they’ve made defending our freedom and liberty.
