County Council, Easley City Council Meet Monday Evening

 

Both Pickens County Council and Easley City Council are set to meet Monday evening.

County Council will meet at 6:30pm in the auditorium of the county administrative building.

A public forum will be held during the meeting.

According to the agenda, county is set to receive funds fro the SC Forest Service, establish millage for Fiscal Year 2012-2013, and approve the regional five comprehensive economic development strategy.

Council will also hear reports from the Administration and Finance committee.

In executive session, council will receive a legal update and discuss a contractual issue.

Council has been on their summer meeting schedule for the past several months, but will resume their regular schedule of the first Monday of every month beginning October 1, 2012.

Easley City Council will meet 7pm Monday in the courtroom of the law enforcement center, with a short agenda for their September meeting.

Council is set to discuss two annexation ordinances and hear a resolution on accepting Tortuga Lane into the city’s road system.

Before their regular session, council will meet in Executive Session at 6:30pm to discuss contractual and personnel matters.
