Crash Kills Easley Couple
Gene and Mildred Jones died late Friday night in collision with another vehicle.
An Easley couple are dead after they collided with another car late Friday night, authorities said.
The deceased were identified as Henry Eugene Jones, 68, and Mildred Jones, 70, of 110 Henry Jones Dr.
The couple was returning home from watching their grandson play soccer when they collided with a 2005 Mazda, the Greenville News reported.
Both the deceased were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, the report said. The driver of the other vehicle was treated and released from AnMed Health Medical Center.
The Highway Patrol and Anderson County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
