Daniel High Athletes Ready for Next Phase of Careers

Six Daniel High School athletes made the next phase of their athletic careers official Wednesday.

The athletes were part of the 11 School District of Pickens County students who signed with schools as part of National Signing Day.

Robert Kosch signed to play baseball at Newberry College.

Adrien Dunn and D.J. Greenlee both signed to play football at Clemson University.

Three Daniel High students will join the Cross Country teams at different schools.

Andre Ivankovic will play for Yale University.

Sara Falta will play for the University of South Carolina.

Matt Geer will play for Spartanburg Methodist University.

"We salute our students who are using their athletic gifts to help them reach their educational goals," said district spokesman John Eby.
