Darrell Wallace Jr. Wins Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway

Due to rain, drivers did not have a chance to qualify for the race but instead were lined up to start the race based on their 2011 points standings

When rain washed out qualifying for the K&N Pro Series East 150 race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway Saturday night, drivers had to be lined up according to their 2011 points.

That put Darrell Wallace Jr. on the pole.

Wallace is no stranger to the front of the field in K&N races, since he won the race at GPS in this same series two years ago.  

Brett Moffitt, who had started 21st, worked his way through the field to get to Wallace's bumper on lap 127, and after a few nudges, Moffitt took the lead. Moffitt led several laps before Wallace nudged him to retake the lead.

Wallace went on to win the race. Corey LaJoie would finish second, Brandon Gdovic took third, Eddit McDonald fourth and Moffitt fifth.     

Chase Elliott, who started 10th, worked his way all the way up to second, but faded in the latter stages and finished sixth. Dylan Kkwasniewski was seventh  with Dylan Presnell, Ben Kennedy and Daniel Suarez rounding out the top ten.
