Deputies: Pickens Man Wanted for Shooting At, Kidnapping Ex-Girlfriend Arrested

Jameel Chalmer was arrested at an Easley home on Thursday morning

Pickens deputies said they have arrested the man they say shot at and kidnapped his ex-girlfriend.

Jameel Chalmers was arrested around 9:30 a.m. Thursday by Pickens County Sheriff's deputies at a home in Easley, according to WSPA.

Deputies said the woman had gun powder burns around her mouth and her face. Deputies also said the woman had some trouble hearing in her left hear, after the incident.

Chalmers is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and larceny. He is being held on $55,000 bond at the Pickens County Detention Center.
