District Teachers Earn National Board Certification

Seven Pickens County teachers earned their National Board Certification this year, bringing the total number of national board certified teachers in the district to 121.
The teachers are:

Dawn Miller, Liberty Elementary School
Heather Greer, Dacusville Elementary School
Jennifer Hoover, Liberty Middle School
Nicole Richey, West End Elementary School
Brooks Fuller, Easley High School
Lindsey Hiott, Ambler Elementary School
Valerie McCall, Dacusville Elementary School

“We are so pleased for and proud of these teachers,” said Sharon Huff, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services. “They demonstrate a commitment to growing professionally and modeling life-long learning for our students. In order to receive this status, they have worked hard to meet the rigorous standards set forth by NBCT.”

In 2011-2012, three Pickens County Teachers earned their national board certification.
