Mr. Donald Weldon Williams, 70, of Hendersonville, N.C., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at Hendersonville Health and Rehab.
Born July 9, 1941 in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James Williams and Lillian Williams Smith. Mr. Williams was a retired security guard and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Barry Williams of Washington; daughter, Nancy O'Brien of New Hampshire; sister, Mildred Merritt of Greenville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James Williams and sister, Mamie Royal.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Dr. W. Melvin Aiken officiating. Burial will follow in Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 11:45 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
