Mrs. Dorothy Patterson Hayes, 79, wife of the late James Aaron Hayes, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Charlie Edward and Annie Young Patterson, Mrs. Hayes retired from Kent Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Dorothy loved to garden and had a passion for music.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley Hayes of Easley and Randall Hayes (Marie) of Liberty; two daughters, Kathy Collins (Earl) of Easley and Carolyn Rogers (Joe) of Ware Shoals; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the chapel of . Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
