Easley Golf Team Captures State Title
After seven years, team brings home a victory from state.

The Easley Boys Golf team won the 4A Upper State tournament title last week and on Tuesday, they captured the 4A State Title.
The team was able to earn the title in the Upstate, as they played in the 74th Annual Kiwanis South Carolina AAAA Golf Tournament at Furman University.
Easley took the team title with an 897, followed by Blythewood at 908. Riverside was fourth at 925 and Fort Dorchester and T.L. Hanna tied for fifth at 938.

This is the first state golf title the school has won in seven years.
Trace Crowe finishes the state championship as the runner up. North Augusta High School's Matt NeSmith took the title shooting a 208 during the two-day tourney.

Crowe and Adam Garrett have been named to the 2012 All State Team.
