An Easley High School teacher is facing charges after he was accused of having sex with a student, police said. John Peter Kilgallen, 31, of 232 Crestwood Drive, Liberty, turned himself into police Thursday afternoon. Kilgallen is charged with sexual battery of a student. According to the Easley High School website, Kilgallen taught science. School District of Pickens County spokesman John Eby told <a href="https://patch.com/A-yjMW" rel="nofollow">WYFF4 </a>that Kilgallen resigned on Tuesday after being placed on administrative leave.
