Easley Holiday Market Is This Saturday
Holiday Market to offer a mixture of regular Easley Farmers Market vendors and newcomers.

Small Business Saturday isn't until next Saturday, but there's a great way for you to support area farmers and crafters this Saturday in Easley.
The Easley Farmers Market is ending its season with a special Holiday Market, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10am to 2pm in front of Easley City Hall.
“It's something new we're trying,” said Farmers Market Manager Lisa Garrett.

The Holiday Market will combine familiar vendors with some newcomers.
“It'll be a nice mix, we've got a few of our staple vendors,” Garrett said. “Denise will be here with eggs, one vendor will have some salad greens, collard greens, bok choy, maybe some radishes. One vendor will be selling plants, and maybe some fall crops. Our honey lady will be here. Barnyard Goodies will be here selling homemade dog treats.”

“She'll have salsa, jams, jellies, marinara sauce, soups,” she said. “She'll be sampling some stuff.”
The market will also feature arts and crafts, Garrett said.
“Joey Taylor will be here with his woodworking,” she said. “He's a regular vendor here. Some of our artists from the Fall for the Arts Festival will be here.”
Evelyn McCollum will be selling cookbooks during the market.
When Patch spoke to Garrett, she'd just signed up a new vendor.
“Rio Bertolini's will have fresh pasta – ravioli and different types of pasta,” Garrett said. “I'm excited to have them.”
A Mary Kay representative will be on-hand with Mary Kay Gift Baskets, Garrett said.
“It's a great time to Christmas shop,” Garrett said.
Holiday wreathes will be available, and Garrett is hoping to have a vendor selling Christmas trees set up at the market.
The Starving Artist Cafe will be serving up hot chocolate, coffee and food.
Garrett said more than 20 vendors have signed up for the Holiday Market so far.
She said the Easley Farmers Market will open up in 2013 on March 22, the same day as the Spring Fling festival.
