Easley Native Participates in Wofford College's Presidential Seminar 2013
Presidential Seminar participants are recognized for their academic achievement and contributions to the college community.

Chris Bourean has been chosen to participate in Wofford's Presidential Seminar 2013.
Bourean's parents are Michael and Lisa Bourean of Easley. Bourean is a majoring in biology and finance.
The participants in the Presidential Seminar 2013 continue a tradition begun in the spring of 1999.

The Wofford Presidential Seminar was conceived as both a capstone experience in the liberal arts and as recognition of graduating seniors for the academic achievement and their contributions to the college community.
Participants nominated by their departments and selected by President Benjamin Dunlap become part of a semester-long colloquium involving not only themselves and two moderators, but various Wofford faculty members, alumni and friends of the college invited to join individual sessions.

Wofford College, established in 1854, is an independent liberal arts college of 1,600 students in Spartanburg, S.C. Wofford ranks 4th nationally in the percentage of undergraduates receiving credit for study abroad. Home to one of the nation's 280 Phi Beta Kappa chapters, Wofford's historic 170-acre campus is recognized as a national arboretum. Affiliated is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
