Easley Students Among New Alpha Chi Inductees at Southern Wesleyan
Nine new members inducted into national honor society Alpha Chi.

On March 22, Southern Wesleyan University inducted nine new members into the S.C. Delta chapter of Alpha Chi, a national honor society that promotes academic excellence and exemplary character. Founded in 1922, Alpha Chi membership is limited to the top 10 percent of the senior class and the top 5 percent of the junior class.Â
This year’s inductees are: Randy Attaway, an English Education major from Pelzer; Michelle Cison (not pictured), a Biology major from Easley; Gracie Clendening, a Biology major from Pickens; Mark Cromer, a Biology major from Temperance, Mich.; Katie Hansel (not pictured), an Early Childhood Education major from Greenville; Erin King, a Biology major from Greenville; Nate Miller (not pictured), a Recreation and Leisure Services major from Raleigh, N.C.; Turner Plumley, a Math Education major from Taylors; and Kristin Ridley (not pictured), an Early Childhood Education major from Easley.
Alpha Chi currently has chapters on 397 campuses in 45 states and inducts more than 11,000 new members annually.
