Join us at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley at 10am on Saturday, November 10 for an American Girls
program featuring Marie-Grace and Cécile, two young girls growing up in 1850s New Orleans. We’ll be having a
Mardi Gras celebration so be sure to wear your party clothes. We’ll also dance the waltz and learn some French!
Step back in time with this historical enrichment program offered monthly by The Pickens County Library System
and based on the American Girl series. Each program, presented by Mother Hubbard, features one of the American
Girl characters and activities relating to a particular historical era. These programs are free and open for all to attend
and enjoy. For more information please contact the library’s youth services department at 850-7077.
