The Better Business Bureau Upstate South Carolina will be having their Spring Shred Day on Saturday, April 21 offering complimentary commercial shredding services to individuals and small business owners at locations in Greenville and Anderson.  The BBB established its annual Shred Days to help raise awareness about Identity Theft and to stress the importance of shredding personal and confidential information to prevent it. Individuals and small business owners can take advantage of the free shredding service from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the following locations:
• Better Business Bureau office, 408 N. Church Street, Greenville
• BB&T, 1637 E Greenville Street, Anderson

Participants may bring up to 10 small banker boxes per vehicle.
Also during Shred Day, at both locations Verizon Wireless HopeLine will be collecting used wireless phones, batteries and accessories to provide refurbished phones and cash grants to local shelters and non-profit agencies focusing on the awareness and prevention of domestic violence.Â
And at the Greenville location only, Goodwill will accept computers, monitors and printers in any condition to be recycled. Hard drives are wiped by Goodwill Industries following the US Department of Defense standards.
