Easley's first Responsible Dog Ownership Day a big success
A large crowd turned out for Easley’s First Annual Responsible Dog Ownership Day.
“I’m really pleased with the way it’s turned out,” said organizer Chuck Floyd.
The EROD event featured lots of booths and vendors with information on caring responsibly for the pets you currently own, information on giving new pets a forever home, ways to help area animal rescue groups and more.

Visitors got to see Easley’s K-9 officer conduct a vehicle search, see favorite breeds during the Parade of Breeds, bid for items in the silent auction and much more.
It was a great way to introduce people to groups involved in rescuing and caring for animals while also introducing people to the city’s Dog Park at Hagood Park.
