Mr. Ed Schauf, 63, of 107 Yankee Rebel Point, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at St Francis Hospital.
Born July 14, 1949 in Washington, Iowa, he was a son of Velda I. Moffit Schauf and the late Wilbur L. Schauf. Mr. Schauf retired from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service and also was a retired aircraft mechanic with Lockheed Martin.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his partner, Carol Schmidt; a son, Brian Behrand, daughter, Michelle Schauf, sisters, Shirley Debler, Myrna Bozarth, Mary Van Dyke and Sandra Hahn; and brother, Dennis Schauf.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his siblings, Larry, Bill, Lori and Kenneth Schauf.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Inurnment will follow later in Wellman, Iowa.
