GCSO: Easley Man Robbed by Log-Wielding Assailant

A 55-year-old Easley man reported he was assaulted by a young Hispanic man wielding a log in an alleged attack last Friday on Pendleton Road near Page Drive, a Greenville County incident report said.

The unidentified victim called the GCSO on May 25 to report an armed robbery that he was a victim of on May 24 at approximately 8:15 p.m. The victim reported that he was on Pendleton Road near Page Drive when he was assaulted by a Hispanic male between 20-30 years old. 

The victim reported that the only thing taken from him was his prescription Xanax medication. The victim stated he did not want to meet with deputies and did not report any injuries. 

The GCSO has since closed the case, the report said.
