Gobbling Up Change for Cancer

Palmetto Elementary School raises money for Relay for Life

Palmetto Elementary School gobbled up spare change from the parents who came through the car line from November 12-16.

The turkey was outside every morning and afternoon encouraging people to give generously.

The children enjoyed waving at the turkey as they put change in the collection buckets.  The total collected was over $150.  All money will be donated to Relay for Life fight against cancer.  Palmetto Elementary School will participate in Relay for Life in the Spring.
