Kings of the Mic Tour Coming to Simpsonville

They're calling it the The Kings of the Mic Tour, but it could just as easily be called the "Elder Statesmen of Rap" tour.

The Charter Amphitheatre announced another big concert this morning via the venue's Facebook page.

The Kings of the Mic Tour features LL Cool J, with Public Enemy, Ice Cube and De La Sol and will be held in Simpsonville Friday, June 14.

In a genre that's produced more than it's share of one hit wonders (Vanilla Ice, Sisqo, Afroman, just to name a few), each of the performers on Kings of the Mic bill has endured, with careers spanning more than 20 years. 

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22.
