Liberty Middle Welcomes Teachers From Across the World
Liberty Middle School one of three Upstate schools selected to take part in International Leaders in Education Program.

Liberty Middle School is pleased to announce that they are one of three schools in the Upstate chosen to participate in the International Leaders in Education Program through the U.S. State Department and Clemson University. This program is bringing professional educators from Bangladesh, India ,Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, the Philippines and Senegal to the U.S. to teach cooperatively with host school teachers and interact with students and the community.
These professional educators were chosen through a highly competitive process in their home country and the State Department. Clemson University is one of five universities in the U.S. chosen to have this intercultural exchange privilege and opportunity.
The teachers will begin in mid-January, and the program will run until early May. Liberty Middle is excited to have these professional educators come to our school and provide true intercultural experiences for our students, staff and community, and give our guests a real picture of what our schools are like—much different from what they may have seen in movies, television etc. in their home countries.
