Mistletoe Market Returning to Anderson County Museum

An annual Anderson County holiday tradition is just around the corner.  Mistletoe Market will fill the Anderson County Museum with artisans on November 2-3. 

“This year we have 32 artisans who’ll have their work for sale.  It’s always a great way to start your holiday shopping and find that one-of-a-kind gift for everyone on your list,” said Museum Director Beverly Childs.

Mistletoe Market will open on Friday, November 2^nd with Sip and Shop from 4-8 PM.  The Market will also be open from 10-4 on Saturday, November 3^rd.  In addition to the artisans, specialty food producers will have their creations for sale, including chocolate and products made from goat milk.

These artisans will be at Mistletoe Market: Artbasgo, Backyard Barn, Cancer Association of Anderson, Cheyanna Pearl Gifts, CocoBon, Fractured Elements, Frolicking Frogs Pottery, Garrido, Glory Bound Books, Higgins Design Studio, Indian Cove Woodcrafters, JustWood, Karisma, Kay's Whimsical Creatures, Lucky Acres Farm, Mama jj's Vegan Soaps, Michael Craig Designs, Mike Merritt Art, Mirror Mirror Image, Nature's Clay, Pine Straw Baskets, RMK Collection, Scrolling Daze, Sew Creative, Split Creek Farms, Stella Grove Designs, Stone Lotus Pottery and Two Gather Beads.

The Anderson County Museum is located at 202 E. Greenville St. in downtown Anderson.  It’s open from 10-7 on Tuesday and from 10-4 Wednesday-Saturday.

If you don’t find something for everyone on your list at Mistletoe Market, Anderson County is offering another opportunity to buy from local artisans.  The annual Holiday Market at the Anderson County Farmer’s Market will be open the five Saturdays in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  “We’ll have 36 artisans selling their unique gift items,” said Sharon Nicometo, Facilities Manager for the Anderson County Parks Dept.

The Holiday Market will be open from 10-2 on November 24 and December 1, 8, 15 and 22.  The Market is in downtown Anderson at 402 Murray Ave.
