New Route For Easley Christmas Parade

School construction makes route change necessary

Those planning to take part in or view this year’s Easley Christmas Parade should be aware that the parade route has changed.

This year’s Christmas Parade will be held 10am Saturday, December 1.

“Because of the continuing construction at the old Easley high school building on South Pendleton Street, it will be necessary for us to change the line up area and parade route for the Easley Christmas Parade this year”, stated Scott Buckhiester, V.P. of Operations with DunBurks Premier Events who are contracted to execute events for the City of Easley.

“The line up will be in the parking area behind the Alice Mills’s corporate office and Easley First Baptist Church,” Buckhiester said.

The Parade route for 2012 will be:

            From the line up area up Bradley Ave.

            Left on Main St.

            Left on South 1st  St.

            Left on West 1st Ave

            The Parade will end at S. Pendleton St. (Police will then escort parade entries back to the line up area)
