Obituary: Billy Ray Hiott of Easley

Billy Ray Hiott, 77, went to his Heavenly Home Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Henry Smith and Annie Gibson Hiott. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force. Following his retirement from Marshall and Williams, he was the owner/operator of Hiott Textiles and an active member of the Easley Moose Lodge.

Mr. Hiott and Betty Lou Burgess had two daughters, Becky Hiott Perdue and Bonnie Rena Rust. Survivors also include brother, Joe Hiott; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-daughters. 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday 3:00 p.m. at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans' Cemetery. 

Following the service, the family will hold a reception celebration at Countryside Village in Easley.
