Obituary: Hazel M. Evatt of Easley

Hazel M. Evatt, 98, wife of the late A. B. Evatt, passed from this life, Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

Born in Clarksville, VA a daughter of the late Walter McGimpsey and Cora McGimpsey Norman, she was retired from Glenwood Mayfair Mills and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a son; Louie Melton (Betty) of Margate, FL grandchildren; Renaldia Ducker and Michele Melton, a great granddaughter; Jennifer Withington, a great great granddaughter; Nina Robinson, one sister; Leila Masters of Easley.

Mrs. Evatt was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and a son; Sammy K. Crews.

Visitation will be 2 PM until 3 PM Friday, March 8, 2013 at Dillard Funeral Home followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 3 PM.
