Obituary: Nina Lewis of Pickens
Lewis laid to rest Friday Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
Miss Nina Lewis, 87, of Pickens, passed from this life Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
Miss Lewis was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Samuel Clayton and Alpha Clardy Lewis. She was a homemaker and a member of East Pickens Baptist Church. For many years, Miss Lewis was a caregiver for children in her home.
Survivors include her brother, Emphs Lewis (Hazel) of Pickens and a number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Miss Lewis was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Lewis and sisters, Sada Ulstad, and Hazel Holder.
A graveside service will be held 2PM Friday, March 29, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
