Obituary: Scott Gilcrease of Pickens
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at Oolenoy Baptist Church.
Charles Scott Gilcrease, 54, husband of the late Donna Faye Sides Gilcrease, passed from this life Wednesday, February 20, 2013.
Scott was born in Greenville County, a son of Mildred Snow Gilcrease and the late Charles F. "Chuck" Gilcrease. He was founder, owner and operator of Lawn Beautiful and was a member of Oolenoy Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother of the home, sons, Kendall Gilcrease of Marietta and Pastor Isham Gilcrease of the home, brother, Steven Keith Gilcrease (Jane) of Pickens, grandchildren, Isaiah Cameron Gilcrease, Brady Alexander Gilcrease, Charles Jackson Gilcrease and Grace Madison Williams. Also surviving are nieces, Catherine Kalinovich (Jarrad) of Powdersville and Elizabeth Coreen Gilcrease of Pickens.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Oolenoy Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens.
