Pancake Breakfast Benefits Young Appalachian Musicians
Breakfast slated for 9am Saturday, February 9 at Gatehouse in Pickens

The Gatehouse Restaurant in Pickens will host a pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 to benefit the Young Appalachian Music program.
The cost for the breakfast is $6 and includes pancakes, eggs, grits, bacon or sausage, and drink, with all profits going to support the Young Appalachian Music (YAM) program.
Sweet Potato Pie Kids, an all-star YAM band, will entertain during the Feb. 9 breakfast at Gatehouse Restaurant, located at 116 Ann St. in Pickens.

Tickets for the breakfast can be purchased from any YAM student, at Oolenoy Community Center in Pumpkintown on Friday nights, at the Gatehouse Restaurant, or at the door on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 9.
The Young Appalachian Musician program teaches traditional bluegrass music to elementary and middle school students in Pickens County.
