Good morning, Easley! Today is Friday, December 7, 2012 and there are 24 days left in the year.
There's lot's going on tomorrow, so let's get right to it.
Start your day off right with some pancakes that benefit a great local cause.

The Gatehouse Restaurant in Pickens is hosting a pancake breakfast that will benefit the Young Appalachian Musicians Program.
The cost for the breakfast is $6 and includes pancakes, eggs, grits, bacon or sausage, and drink, with all profits going to support the Young Appalachian Music (YAM) program.

Sweet Potato Pie Kids, an all-star YAM band, will entertain during the Dec. 8 breakfast at Gatehouse Restaurant, located at 116 Ann St. in Pickens.
Tickets for the breakfast can be purchased from any YAM student, at Oolenoy Community Center in Pumpkintown on Friday nights, at the Gatehouse Restaurant, or at the door on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 8.
Those pancakes will give you plenty of fuel if you're participating in the Michael's Pizzeria Christmas Cruise 5K & Crossfit Challenge, which will be held in downtown Easley tomorrow morning.
It's not to late to sign up for this race, which benefits The Dream Center of Pickens County.
Race day registration is available for $20.
The race begins at 10:00am.
Dacusville and Norris are both holding their Christmas Parades today.
Norris' parade kicks off at 11am.
Dacusville's parade starts at 2pm.
The Easley Dance Conservatory presents their 7th Annual production of the Christmas Classic, “The Nutcracker.”
The production, which features many dancers from around the area, will be performed Saturday, December 8 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 9 at 3:30pm at the new Easley High School.
Advance tickets can still be purchased for $7 today. Tickets will be $10 at the door.

“Gold, Frankincense, Christmas Tree Ornaments, and Myrrh,” the newest production from the Easley Foothills Playhouse, continues tomorrow night. The show kicks off tonight and will run until Dec. 16. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8pm, with Sunday matinees starting at 3pm.
