Pickens Man Charged With Indecent Exposure
Douglas Dean Evans allegedly exposed himself at area post offices while wearing only ladies lingerie, high heels and a wig.

A Pickens man is charged with three counts of indecent exposure after allegedly exposing himself at area post offices.
Douglas Dean Evans, 41, of 215 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, was arrested today, following an investigation that began in July, according to a Pickens County Sheriff's Office release.
According to investiigators, Evans had allegedly been seen inside and around the Easley and Liberty Post Offices by both Postal Service employees and Post Office customers.

Witnesses reported seeing Evans wearing only ladies lingerie, high heel shoes and a black wig.
The “outfits” were reported to be sheer see-through, revealing Evans’ private areas, the release said.

The victims in these incidents, all women, were shocked and appalled by Evans’ appearance, according to the release.
Each of them encountered Evans while they were alone, and expressed fear because of the encounter, the release said.
Together they provided the crucial information, which led to Evans’ arrest, investigators said.
The investigation, which culminated in the arrest of Evans, was initiated by Sheriff’s Deputies and US Postal Inspectors after receiving information from the Liberty and Easley Police Departments on October 31, 2012. Several incidents had occurred between July and October.
