Powdersville Water District to Perform Maintenance on Hwy 153 Tank
Some customers may experience fluctuations in water pressure while maintenance is undertaken.

In an effort to continue to provide customers with safe, reliable drinking water, the Powdersville Water District (PWD) will remove the elevated tank on Hwy 153 from service for inspection and maintenance on the morning of Monday, December 10, 2012.
This is routine maintenance task that must be performed every three years. Once the tank inspection is completed, PWD will refill the tank with water, collect water samples and the tank should be placed back into service on Friday, December 14, 2012.
While this tank is out of service, PWD customers located north of Wren School Road and north of Hwy 8, may experience lower pressures than normal and fluctuations in pressure during various times of the day.Â
