Powdersville Water District Welcomes New Board, Advisory Commitee Members
Wayne Atkinson joins Board of Directors. Bob Stahlsmith joins Advisory Committee.
At their December meeting the Anderson County Delegation approved the new appointment of Wayne Atkinson to the Powdersville Water District Board (PWD) of Directors. Also, at the PWD December Board Meeting, the Board approved the appointment of Bob Stahlsmith to serve on the Advisory Committee to the Board for a term of one year. The Advisory Committee was created by the Board for the purpose of preparing members for possible future service on the Board.
Mr. Atkinson is a graduate of Clemson University, where he received a BSEE degree. His occupational background is in Electrical Consulting Engineering. Wayne enjoys spending time with his family and is active in his church. He and his wife, Brenda, have been residents of the Powdersville community for 36 years. They have two children and five grandchildren.
Other members of the PWD Board are: Phil Landreth, Chairman; Jimmy Williams, Vice-Chairman; Towers Rice, Treasurer; Seth Landrum, Ernest Evans, Freddie Zink and Suzanne Childs and Leon Harmon.

Mr. Stahlsmith is a graduate of Clemson University where he received a BS degree in Industrial Management. He is currently Principal/Vice President of The Delta Group. Bob is active in his church, Wren Youth, and the Clemson Entrepreneurial Program. Bob and his wife, Patty, have lived in the Powdersville Community for 8-1/2 years. They have three children.
Mr. Stahlsmith will join current member Jonathan R. “JT” Tingen on the Advisory Committee.
